New novel 'Hidden feelings' in Belgium

Ariella Kornmehl's new novel has recently been reviewed in Belgium (www.cobra.be).

She will be reading from her new novel on March 23rd in Oostende, Belgium, after which she'll be having a conversation with author Anne Provoost.

New novel 'Hidden feelings' will be published in November

Ariella is currently working on the completion of her fourth novel, 'Hidden Feelings' which is due to be released in November.

Inspired by stories told to her by her grandmother, her novel deals with emotions related to guilt, the need to protect those we love and about a love that must remain a secret.

Frenk van der Linden interview with Ariella Kornmehl

On the occasion of the exhibition of the amazing art of William Kentridge in the Jewish Historical Museum, will Frenk van der Linden interview Kornmehl about her novels, especially 'The Butterfly Month' which is situated in South Africa. This novel has been translated into many languagues and was nominated for the IMPAC Literary Award.

A Silent Mother has been awarded with the Readers Awards 2011

A Silent Mother by Ariëlla Kornmehl, Dutch Book Club Book of the Year 2011.

Ariëlla Kornmehl has been awarded with the Boek-delenprize 2011. Her latest novel A Silent Mother has been chosen by the readers from the Dutch book clubs. The shortlist for this award featured Tom Lanoye, Thomas Rosenboom, Renate Dorrestein and Franca Treur amongst others. In previous years this award has been presented to Khaled Hosseini, Stefan Brijs, Gerbrand Bakker, Arthur Japin and Paolo Giordano.
